Join us Friday, June 10th and Saturday, June 11th in the McPherson, KS area for our Kansas Grassland Gathering. We want to connect ag producers, hunters, natural resource professionals, and partners together, provide educational opportunities on conservation and hunting-related topics, recognize some amazing work across the state, and encourage folks to keep it up. 

Kansas Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are hosting this meeting and the event is being sponsored by various local and statewide businesses, organizations, and entities. We will kick off the event on June 10th with a social, introductions, and cornhole tournament at the 365 Sports Complex in Inman, KS.

The fun and learning continues at the McPherson Valley Wetlands Wildlife Area on June 11th, as we kick off breakfast at 8:00 AM, followed by habitat talks and demos. We will cover various topics including pollinators and native plants, PF/QF chapters, trap shooting, grazing and soil health, natural resource policy, and urban/small-scale ag. If conditions are right, we might even demo a small prescribed burn. Lunch and breaks are scheduled throughout the day. We will eat dinner and socialize at the McPherson Museum and Arts Foundation at 5:00 PM.

Participation in this event, as well as PF/QF and other NGOs will help fund habitat and access projects across the state, as well as both youth and adult hunting and outdoor recreation events in Kansas.
