This position covers a vast range of responsibilities.  Main responsibilities include: answering phones, scheudling repairs and initial diagnostics, putting together estimates and contacting customers to advise on repairs needed, ordering parts for approved jobs, and writing repair orders.  Other responsibilities include: taking payments and closing out tickets, assisting walk in customers, some help in the shop at times (mainly includes assisting Mike when needed, some light lifting, and bleeding brakes), entering data for parts ordered, and signing for delivered parts.  This is a fast paced work environment that often requires multi-tasking, good organization, good computer skills, and great communication abilities.  A general understanding of the automotive industring is preferred but training will be provided.  

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma, 18 Years of Age or Older, and Preferred 2-5 years of Customer Service Experience

This is a full time position Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:30 with an hour for lunch. We are closed all major holidays and vacation days are given after the first year of employment. 

Mike has been an automotive tech for over 40 years and he has now owned Mike's Automotive Repair for over 17 years.  We offer quick turn around times, excellent customer service, and take pride in knowing our customers leave feeling they've been treated fairly and have a reliable vehicle to drive.
