Description

Rare opportunity to own a "Cow-Chasing Land Shark"

This cross between talent and awaiting his glo-up is what you need to step up your reined cow horse game. Though not the flashiest animal on the ground, Butters wants to hunt cows like a shark. Smooth gaits and powerful, he's the hammer-head of the cow pen.

Mr George W, AKA "Butters," has all what you're looking for (if what you seek is talent and a chance to bring home checks)

At 14.2 hh (but tells people he 's 15hh), this chromed out sorrel is bred to eat cows, plant his butt, and turn around like he forgot the stove on back home.

Both his parents brought home money in cutting.

His pops is the 6666's Rockin W ($300k+) and his dam, Ms Mimosa ($177k+), should be called a "dam fine" as her babies have also earned her a place in the NCHA Hall of Fame.

Though he's bred to excel in the show pen, he's actually a functioning animal as well. He's been ridden outside the arena, used to gather and check cattle out in pasture, and doesn't bat an eye at uneven earth. No bubble wrap required for this guy, he's a working man's horse.

"Butters the Bullshark" has the bloodlines to shine, the talent to win, and the physical power to bring home money. He just hasn't had the chance. His career for futurities took a sharp left when he was purchased as a non-pro horse. He rode into the ranch versatility classes with this non-pro but never got the opportunity to show his skills in cow horse and reining.

This is how we ended up with him, hoping he'd be a good fit for a brother-in-law who wanted to give reined cow horse a try but, due to his work schedule, "Butters" has again landed on the back burner.

After much discussion, it's been decided that this horse needs to love and show record that someone else will help him get. He's been sent to Jay Henson to tune up and finish up on some buttons, as well as to chase plastic cows with a rope, and is getting ready and set to go to his new home.

Butters is perfect for Non-Pro's who want to be competitive, ropers who actually want to catch their cow, and rich old ladies who want to tell him he's a pretty boy and brush his face.

He's up to date on all his shots, on his farrier work, and doesn't require any maintenance
