While under the direction of a professional nurse, Certified Medical Assistants must have the ability to understand and follow physician orders to administer daily medications to residents. CMA's must also be able to assist the nurses as needed, monitor and report any changes in residents condition, respect resident rights and follow current standards, guidelines and regulations in a safe and efficient manner. Excellent communication and intercommunication skills are also required.  Pay is based on years of experience and knowledge.
