Valley Hope is expanding our Information Services department and is in search of an Administrative Assistant to join our team!

Per CMS Interim Rule, all Valley Hope employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive an approved medical/religious exemption.

JOB SUMMARY: 

  • Answers IS telephone system and responds effectively to incoming callers.
  • Log, escalate and update all help desk requests using the ticketing system, specified processes, and following defined service levels.
  • Prepares, tracks, and maintains outgoing and incoming shipments as needed.
  • Maintains IS office supplies and assets inventory.
  • Performs ticket follow-ups for the techs as needed.
  • Assists IS leadership with projects as needed.
  • Assists with processing of weekly accounts payables as directed which may include computer data entry, statement reconciliation and balancing of accounts.
  • Performs administrative support to the IS Tech Analysts and others in the IS Dept as requested.
  • Performs common office related tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying.

 

COMPENSTATION:

  • Starting hourly rate goes up to $16.75 based on experience and education

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required: 

  • Unrestricted valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

  • One (1) year work or internship experience in an office or medical office setting.
  • College credit in business administration or social sciences.

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Selfdirected and motivated; able to meet established timelines.
  • Good   verbal,   written   and   interpersonal   communication   skills;   demonstrated   ability   to communicate with peers and callers.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction.
  • Ability to give direction and motivate team members as directed.
  • Ability to think creatively and meet challenges with resourcefulness.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
  • Good understanding of basic grammar and writing mechanics.
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic proficiency in supporting Windows desktop environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in MS Office applications, which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Traditional hours; able to work overtime to the extent necessary.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel – estimated at 5-10% of the time.
