First Care Clinic is seeking applications for a Chief Financial Officer.


1.         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.

2.         3-5 years of experience in the Accounting field is required.

3.         CPA preferred, but not required.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for maintaining accurate records of First Care Clinic’s financial position, assisting in the financial aspects of the clinic’s strategic plan, producing reports, which accurately reflect the clinic’s activities, and providing support in other administrative activities.  

Primary duties include the following:

  1. Maintain accurate accounting records.
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports showing utilization of the clinic’s services.
  3. Supervise the Accounts Receivable Clerk and Accounting Specialist positions.
  4. Maintain the system of financial and personnel internal controls.
  5. Prepare all required reports to meet grant and other outside agency deadlines.
  6. Supervise the entry of all payables.
  7. Prepare for financial audits and implement necessary changes based on results.
  8. Assist in budget preparations.
  9. Maintain a current and accurate inventory of all clinic equipment/supplies.
