Midnight Productions, a prominent Mobile DJ enterprise with two decades of expertise in the Hays Kansas region, is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time Assistant DJ to join our esteemed team. As a representative of our company, you will uphold our sterling reputation and reviews.

Compensation: Starting at $15 per hour, with potential to increase to $25 per hour post full training as a DJ/MC, dependent on event.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily focused on weddings, private parties, and school dances, with occasional other events.
• Weekend availability required, predominantly Saturday evenings with some Friday evenings.
• Create and sustain a lively, celebratory atmosphere at events.
• Demonstrate consistent professionalism and reliability.
• Uphold a strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Responsible for equipment pickup and return at our Hays location.
• Willingness to travel if necessary.
• Maintain clear communication with clients using our online planning system.

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle for equipment transportation.
• Access to a cell phone.
• Availability for at least 1-2 Saturdays/Fridays per month, potentially more during peak seasons.
• Commitment to attending events scheduled 6 to 12 months in advance.
• Strong customer service skills, high energy, and excellent charisma while maintaining professionalism.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in customer service and public speaking or customer communication.
• Familiarity with computers and music technology (specific training provided).
• Knowledgeable about various music genres.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
