Cyber Security Analyst – Any Nex-Tech Location

Our Cyber Security Analyst will perform organizational risk and gap analysis, including facilitating audit testing, reviews, and remediation of the company’s security controls. Assists in leading all internal cyber security related events and incidents, as well as preparing incident reports with the proper parties for review. This position also drives the security framework and maintenance practices our team implements to ensure customer systems are kept secure.  Monitors and maintains the company’s compliance as it pertains to SOC, CJIS, PCI DSS, HIPPA/HITECH and NIST.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         Knowledge of cyber security standards, frameworks, and methodologies.

·         Understanding of IT infrastructure in detail, with the ability to monitor and evaluate    threats.

·         Skilled in analytical thinking, problem solving and resolving complex problems            involving multiple vendors and unusual customer applications.

·         Skilled in oral and written communication, including the ability to interact effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel and customers.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree inComputerScience,Cybersecurity, IT or related field or equivalent. Three to five years of cyber security experience, including IT, Security, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
