S&W Supply is currently looking for a full-time, team player to fill the position of Parts Counter Sales Associate in our Hays, KS, location.  The position is Monday-Friday and some Saturday morning shifts. 

•• The Parts Counter Sales Associate position is responsible for many facets of the store’s daily operation. They must welcome customers to our store and help them find what they are looking for. Our Parts Counter Sales Associate must be knowledgeable about the products and services we sell.  They must promptly and respectfully assist our customer’s needs (both in person and on the telephone), plus assist mechanics and service technicians to ensure they are purchasing all needed parts to complete their job.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a high standard of customer service.

• Familiar in the use of computerized systems to include, electronic parts catalog, inventory control, plus invoicing and credit systems.

• Strong work ethic with excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.

• Ability to explain stocking products, their features and benefits compared to competing brands.

• Able to perform a variety of tasks with the ability to work independently.

• Share in the responsibility of maintaining a clean and neat work environment.

• Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change as we grow or as needed.

• Applicant must  have a valid driver’s license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Being able to understand alpha-numerical numbering system.

• Able to squat, bend, walk, & work on feet for multiple hours throughout the day.

• Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving items and boxes up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
