Vintage Cast Iron Sleigh / Sled

Dont know exactly what these were used for but they are certainly old. One has a repair on it and I show that in the pics. The other one is good shape. One has an iron cross bar on the front and the other does not. Look at pics carefully please. If these arnt some kind of sled etc I have no idea what they would be. Never seen anthing like this and I have seen alot of junk.
