Description

Come learn about the history and development of the High Plains at the annual Kansas Day program at the Trego County Museum on Sunday, January 29.  Our speaker will be Don Rowlison, site administrator for the Cottonwood Ranch at Studley.

The program will start at 2 p.m. and Don will share the history of the plains that will take us back hundreds of years to the beginning, when the first explorers discovered the area and then how the land changed as the homesteaders came to settle the area.  With progress and growth brought other changes to the land and people of this region.

We hope you will be able to join us at the museum in WaKeeney for this annual celebration.  For more information, contact the Trego County Historical Society at 785-743-2964.
