Description

This position is part of the medical staff team. This position is responsible for providing primary care services, including assessing and managing patients, following established standards of practice. This position shall be authorized to make independent decisions about advanced practice clinical needs of families, patients and medical decisions based on authorization for collaborative and supervising practice with a physician, across all settings.

We have a unique setting that is typical of rural health. We do not have quick access to specialists, so requiring PCPs to manage complex diseases for patients of all ages is common in this position.

The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring personality, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care, while appreciating the rural health settings.

This position will cover the Hospital, Rural Health Clinic, Intermediate Swing Bed (formerly LTC) and Emergency Room On-Call.

The pay range for this position is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience.
