Elliott is a 5yr old coming 6yr old English Pointer. He is an intact male, when he was 4 months old he was ran over by his previous owner. Surgery was performed resulting in the amputation of his back right leg. He gets around just fine, he gets along great with other dogs and cats. Loves to cuddle, sleep under the covers, and if he could he would sleep in bed all day. He will either need a fenced in yard or a farm to live on, when let outside he is usually put on a chain since he currently lives in town. He is afraid of fireworks and thunderstorms, typically given Benadryl during those times and he calms down enough to sleep. He does have an under bite with some crooked teeth on the bottom but that does not affect the way he eats. Currently on Diamond high energy but also does well on Black Gold dog food. Loves to go for car rides, long walks, and playing with other dogs. Does have separation anxiety, so would do best in a home with someone that is home almost all the time or has another dog or cat to keep him occupied. I am asking for a rehoming fee just to ensure that he is going to a good home, willing to negotiate on price.
