Description

Ludwig Heberlein violin, 4/4 size.  No bow.  Believe case to be a Heberlein made case.  Includes tailpiece, fine tuner for one string, wooden tuning pegs.  Paper label reads: Lud Heberlein, Marknuechen, No. 1125, style 1, anno 1924.  (Also on label is Star of David).

I can see no cracks or separation.  Back is beautiful flamed maple.  Top is spruce with very narrow growth rings.  $1,600.00.
