Looking for Technician with 10+ years experience & certified

Major OEM's: Polaris, Mahindra, Hustler

 – Efficiently Performs all Entry Level & B Level Jobs with no Assistance.

• Perform diagnostic assessments, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of powersport vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, electrical systems, and other components.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately diagnose and resolve problems.
• Troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, overhauling and inspection procedures.
• Replace or repair defective components, such as carburetors, exhaust systems, and ignition systems.
• Stay familiar with manufacturer recalls, service bulletins, and technical updates, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain accurate & detailed records of diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and parts used in each service job.
• Generate comprehensive reports for customers, explaining repairs, costs, and recommended maintenance and ability to communicate clearly with customer.

SILVER B LEVEL MECHANIC  -

 - Efficiently Performs all Entry Level jobs with little Assistance (at or under Flat Rate Time)

• Diagnoses cause of Malfunctions & Performs Repairs
• Oil, Fuel, Electrical & Diagnostics Including Digital Wrench Operation
• Oil Pressure Testing & Cam Chain Tensioner testing
• Engine Coolant Pressure Testing & Radiator Cap testing
• Compression Testing
• Leak Down Testing
• Cylinder Power Balance
• Oil Pressure Testing & Cam Chain Tensioner testing
• Fuel Pressure Testing
• Fuel Injector Balance Testing
• Fuel Quality inspection
• Half shaft Service &/or Replacement
• Throttle Inspection
• Fuel Lines/Fittings Priming Pressurizing Fuel Pump, Check Lines for Leaks
• Wiring Harness/Hoses/Lines Inspections & Replacement
• Coolant Condition & Strength Test
• Brake & Tire Safety Inspection
• Removes & installs major components

BRONZE ENTRY LEVEL C TECHNICIAN

-Tire, Lube & Preventative Maintenance Technician

• Completion of Basic ORV Maintenance Course
• Efficiently use Computer Dealer Inventory Management System
• Safely use ATV/UTV Lifts
• Engine Oil Change, inspect oil Filter/Replace & Clean Spark Arrester
• Inspect for Oil Leaks
• Lubricate & grease engine parts including wheel bearings
• Air Filter Inspection & Replacement
• Drive Belt Tension & Alignment Inspection & Replacement
• Drive Chain Tension Inspection & Adjustment & Lubrication (if applicable)
• Change Transmission Fluids & Gearcase Oil (if applicable)
• Tire Mount, Balance, Change Tire & Torque Wheel Nuts
• Tire Wear Assessment & Rotation if they are rotational
• Install/Change Wiper Blades
• Battery Installation, Activation, Charging & Measuring Voltage, Replace if necessary
• Lights Inspection & Replacement
• Brake Inspection, Brake Fluid, Pads, Rotor & Master Cylinder, replace if necessary
• "No Comeback” Inspection Sealed & Stamped

-Setup & Installation

Uncrating & Set-up Units, Mirror Installation, Install Electronics & other Accessories

• Complete Pre-Delivery Inspection
• Using Stop Site & PCDX on Polaris Site
• Overall Cosmetic Inspection for damage & proper fit & finish
•  “No Comeback” Inspection Sealed & Stamped

Qualifications 

• MMI Graduate or Automotive Technical School preferred or equivalent work experience plus manufacturer certifications
• 10+ Years mechanical experience
• Own a set of comprehensive tools
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Experience knowledge with powersport parts (identification, inspection, classification of component groups, etc.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Working knowledge of computers and cloud-based systems
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Basic knowledge of dealership repair orders

Physical Skills

• Physical endurance for standing, lifting ( 80 lbs. max)  repetitive hand and arm movements
• Manual dexterity, especially with small objects
• Ability to be able to climb, crawl, kneel, and work in confined spaces
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with body, arms, and/or legs in order to access work
• Ability to keep or regain one's body balance or stay upright when in an unstable position
