The Ellsworth County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a highly motivated individual for a Detention Deputy position. Ellsworth County has a good benefit package, vacation, health insurance, sick leave and competitive wages.  Performanced based annual wage increases.  Cost of living wage increases. Applicants are required to be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Kansas driver’s license, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have no prior felony or disqualifying convictions.  A correctional/detention background is prefered but we will train the right person.
