The CNO will work closely with all nursing departments, including acute, emergency, OB, specialty clinics, and surgery, and will work directly with providers to develop and carry out patient care plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing services, excellent communication skills, an understanding of complex assignments and a passion for people. As the Chief Nursing Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in healthcare.


- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

- Provide strategic direction and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of patient-centered care and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with other healthcare leaders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.

- Manage nursing budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity.

- Foster a positive work environment that promotes professional growth and development for nursing staff.

- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of qualified nursing professionals.

- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

- Stay current with advancements in nursing practice, technology, and healthcare regulations.


- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred).

- Current Kansas nursing license.

- Proven experience in nurse management or leadership role.

- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgets and resources.

- Previous experience in healthcare management or administration is a plus.
