The Gove County Health Department is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Public Health Administrator.  Persons with public administration / public health experience or Registered Nurses with public health training are preferred.  Wages commensurate with experience.  Basic computer skills with the ability to learn and use public health computer programs is a must. 

     We are a family-oriented organization.  The Health Department is open Monday through Friday, with flexible hours and self-scheduling.  Gove County provides Kansas Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance and contributions to individual Health Savings Accounts.  Additional benefits include paid federal holidays, sick and vacation time.  Gove County is closed most federal holidays.  A county vehicle is provided for the administrator’s travel to and from work and for Health Department activities.  Gove County is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for the successful applicant.  For a person relocating for this position, Gove County is a designated Rural Opportunity Zone with benefits for the qualifying applicant.
