REMINGTON 700 Chassis pistol in .308 12.5 inch barrel this is what appears to be the VERY FIRST 700 CP PROTOTYPE .308 EVER  In general!! this gun was purchased by me from a gun shop who bought out all of Remingtons guns and ammo from there test facility after bankruptcy!!   This is very first ever made Prototype #1 700 cp with the original box and owners MANUAL is stamped TEST!! PROTOTYPE #1 in back of manual AND END OF BOX IS STAMPED PROTOTYPE #1 and the sticker on end label has serial number and all serial numbers on box match gun and end label says PR01.
