2008 Bantam Flier Trail Lite by R-Vision hybrid camper
Rocky Mountain Edition
My husband loved to camp and was the reason we bought this camper. However, he had health problems and mobility issues. Therefore, he only took it out probably 4 times. He had the most fun setting it up in our backyard and going out there like you would a mancave. He died recently and I am never going to use it. So, that is why I am selling it.
You might be wondering, what is so great about a Bantam Flier? This is a lightweight towable built to allow owners of mini-vans and smaller SUV's to enjoy the fun and excitement of RV living without the hassles of fold down camping. This particular model is 17'.
This Ricky Mountain Edition offers all-terrain tires, higher ground clearance and increased water capacity.
It is considered a hybrid because it combines the features of a pop-up camper and a traditional travel trailer. It has a hard body and roof but also includes 2 canvas pop-outs. One side has a queen bed and the other side has a twin bed. The couch also folds out into a bed and the kitchen table converts into a bed. It can sleep 6.
The battery was just replaced. It has a shower and bathroom. Also, it has 2 water tanks (15 gallon and 10 gallon). The furnace runs on propane and keeps the camper nice and toasty. There is a propane tank that comes with it (not sure how full it is but it has good pressure). The air conditioner is located on top of the camper and will freeze you out. Everything is in working order.
The previous owner related to us that their family took it on a road trip across the US and through the mountains and it was a dream to tow.
It comes with a cover that totally covers the camper, TV, microwave and toaster oven.
