We’re excited to share an opportunity to join our team as a Crisis Recovery Specialist (Case Manager)!

This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing hands-on support to individuals in crisis and being part of a team making a direct impact in our community.

Location: Hays, Kansas
Pay: $27.01/ hour
Make a Difference: You’ll be a key player in responding to mental health crises, preventing emergency room visits, and helping individuals on their recovery journey.

Here’s how you’ll make a difference:

  • Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate crisis response services in the field or via telehealth.
  • Case Management: Help patients navigate their care by coordinating with treatment teams and ensuring their needs are met in line with their treatment plan.
  • Supportive Services: Offer critical services at the Schwaller Center and other community locations, reducing the need for hospitalization.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the MCR team and community partners to ensure the best care and response for patients in need.
  • Flexibility & Travel: Be prepared for a flexible schedule, after-hours work, and travel to support patients wherever they need care.

What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate should have:

  • BA/BS degree (or meet equivalency by a combination of education and work experience in a human service field).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with individuals experiencing severe mental health issues.
  • Ability to meet all CMHC licensing and ongoing training requirements.
  • Passed all required background checks (KBI, DCF Child Abuse Check, Adult Abuse Registry, and motor vehicle screens).
  • Tech-savvy and committed to leveraging technology in your role.
