02 chevy avalanche 2500 4x4 z71. That's right a 3/4 ton.

Imagine the people at gm saying let's combine the hummer h2, 2500hd and a suburban.  And for a rare few. About 3% of avalanches between 01-06 or 9500 total. You get the avalanche 2500.

It has the massive vortec 8.1. Based on the ls platform but way bigger. ( big block 496 ) Not the regular 5.3. Most 2500 pu only got the 6.0. The 8.1 was in 2500hd, 3500hd, medium duty trucks and motor homes. 

It has the reliable 4l85e.  Not the 4l60 that goes out at 100k

It got its front axle, front brakes , and front suspension from the hummer h2.

It got the rear leaf spring, and full floater axle from the 2500hd. Has a tow rating of 12,500lbs. 

This is an 8 lug truck not a 1/2 ton 6 lug. 

I can fold down the seat, fold down the wall and tow 4x8 plywood w tailgate closed w covers on and not get it wet. I know I've done it.  Will also fit atv and dirt bikes in bed. 

Has the z71 offroad package w leather heated power seats, sun roof, 

I know the history of this truck since 05. My Dr bought it in 05. Gave it to his dad in 2020. Got it back when his dad passed away.. I bought the truck in Oct of 2023. W 109k it now reads 114k. Don't drive it much. That's 4200 miles per year. Dr serviced it at chevy dealer.  My local dealer has never even seen one till it was serviced there.

I've towed a car last week got 14.4mpg empty and 8.5 mpg w 12,300lbs total gross weight. From liberal ks to superior ne cruise set at 70mph.

This truck is from Texas so no rust, frame and undercarriage is clean. 

Need nothing runs great no lights on dash everything works as it should.
