The Certified Nurse Aide Training Course offered by Tri-State Academy is a classroom and clinical program focused on the direct care of residents at nursing homes. During the class, students will learn to assist patients with basic needs, including eating, bathing, grooming, mobility, and more.

The classroom portion and clinicals will be held at Grace Manor 465 5th St Burlington, CO 80807

Following completion of clinicals, students are eligible for the State Certification Test.

Program Requirements:

·         Proof of US citizenship or legal residency

·         Be able to read, write & speak English

·         Be at least 16 years old

·         Provide proof of immunizations (must be current). Negative TB test performed                    within the last year and that will not expire prior to clinicals. (two-step skin test,                    blood test or chest X-ray)

·         Be able to pass a criminal background check

·         Be able to pass a Colorado Adult Protective Service screening

·         Be able to pass a urine drug screening

·         Complete application process for enrollment into the program
