Our Emergency Communications division is looking for a qualified applicant to fill a full-time position for 911 Emergency Communications (Dispatcher).
This position provides excellent benefits, including health insurance, KPERS for retirement, wellness incentives, and many other great benefits such as paid leave time.
This is a 24/7 position that has shift work. The shifts are 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am working two days, off two days throughout the week, with alternating weekends of being a three-day weekend off or three day work weekend, unless otherwise needed. Part of the duties may require holiday shifts or overtime on a shift.

Job Description:
911 Emergency Communications Specialists are responsible for processing emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance received on E911 (Enhanced 911) and 10-digit phone lines, and dispatching Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS units in Rush County using CAD, Enterpol, and Total Response systems.
