Cowboy Shavings are ideal for animal bedding and spill absorption. The large premium shavings are processed and screened following a kiln drying process on the rough lumber it comes from then put through an intensive screening process to remove wood-dust and to ensure the shavings meet our target specifications. The shavings are then compressed and bagged. 

They are a mixture of fir, pine and spruce shavings which are kiln dried to make them very absorbent and to eliminate any potential bacteria.  Clean, and soft for the animals & livestock.  They have no biproducts and are biodegradable.  The large shavings make them more absorbent which means they will last longer have and have little to no dust.

Each bag is compressed to 3 cubic feet and expands to 8 cubic feet for usage and has an average weight of 37-40lbs.
