Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and diesel engines

-Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines and equipment

-Use power tools and specialized equipment to assemble, disassemble, and repair diesel engines

-Suspend and lift heave parts or equipment when necessary

-Main accurate records of all repairs and services performed

SKILLS:

-General knowledge of truck, trailer, and equipment repair and maintenance

-Proficient in using power tools and specialized equipment

-Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines

-Experience working in a mechanic shop environment is preferred

-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
