The Ruger American Rifle® Ranch Bolt-Action Rifle with Threaded Barrel is meant to deliver hard-hitting rounds at close to medium ranges. Ruger designed the Marksman Adjustable™ trigger for the American Rifle that is user adjustable for weight-of-pull. The Marksman trigger is light and crisp, allowing for precision shooting. The stock is constructed from rugged composite in flat dark earth, with grooves and texturizing on the pistol grip and fore-end, which provide a solid, non-slip grip in any environment. The stock features molded-in Power Bedding® recoil/bedding blocks to rigidly attach the barreled action to the stock and free-float the barrel. A rubber recoil pad absorbs recoil considerably. The Ranch model features a shorter barrel to aid in quick handling, and comes threaded for use with a suppressor or muzzle device. The barrel is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy. A 3-lug bolt design with a 70° lift provides plenty of clearance between the bolt handle and the riflescope. A 2-position tang safety is easily accessible and quick to operate by both right- and left-handed shooters, and the bolt can be cycled for loading and unloading the rifle with the safety engaged. A cocking indicator at the end of the bolt can be seen and felt. The American Rifle Ranch Bolt-Action Rifle comes with a drilled and tapped receiver, mounted with a Picatinny rail.
