Description

Norton County Hospital has an employment opportunity for a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist.  We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented website, social media & public relations specialist to enhance our online presence, manage public-facing communications, and engage with our community in meaningful ways.

This position is responsible for maintaining and improving our website, managing our social media channels (with a focus on Facebook), and implementing public relations strategies that support our mission and promote our organization. This position has the potential to be full-time.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain, update, and optimize website content for accuracy, accessibility, and user experience using Dreamweaver
  • Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms, with an emphasis on Facebook, to promote engagement and growth
  • Create, schedule, and monitor posts, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote services, highlight staff, promote events and initiatives, and public announcements—including digital, radio and print media
  • Work with administration to draft press releases, digital content and public communications that align with organizational goals
  • Monitor analytics (website traffic, social media reach, engagement metrics) and provide regular performance reports
  • Stay current on trends in digital marketing, social media, and public relations

Qualifications:

  • Experience in website management required
  • Strong social media management skills, especially Facebook strategy and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital content best practices, with the ability to leverage analytics insights to refine messaging and optimize performance
  • Graphic design and/or basic video editing experience is a plus
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
