Description

1965 Studebaker Commander. A survivor! 154,332 miles. 194 cu. in. Chevy in-line six cylinder. "Three on the tree" manual transmission with Borg-Warner overdrive. I got this car about 1988. It had a complete engine overhaul by a local old school mechanic shortly before I got it at about 125,000 miles. I had a partial restoration done. New paint and NOS Studebaker factory front fenders. I still have the original fenders and front grill. I drove it to work 30 miles round trip six days a week, except for bad weather, for a little over three years before retiring it. Before I retired it got new rear wheel cylinders and rebuilt the front wheel cylinders. It also got a new water pump. When I was driving it regularly I put new points and plugs in it about every 12,000 miles. Changed oil every 3,000 miles. Interior is very good for it's age. All gauges and instruments work. All lights, tail lights and turn signals work. Driver side floor pan is rusted. All others are solid. No dents. All glass is good. If interested message me here. If really interested leave me a phone number with good times to call you. I have more pictures and video available. I post different and better pictures and video when I can get them. Thanks for looking
