Sunflower, a generation and transmission utility serving central and western Kansas, is looking to add a Transmission Project Manager to our team in either Great Bend, KS or Hays, KS! This person would be responsible for managing the development and execution of project processes for transmission lines, substations, and joint projects. Ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to scope while coordinating resource availability, outage planning, and constructability with internal and external teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, construction, or related technical field along with 7 years of electric utility experience with proven ability to manage projects and coordinate teams of professionals; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• At least 4 years should include project management activities with high voltage transmission construction.
• Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera or other project management software applications.
• Advanced knowledge of interconnected power transmission systems and electric utility industry standards, practices and regulations.
