If you've got a lot of old clothing sitting around, let's talk! I own a vintage clothing store in Lawrence and I travel all over the state dealing with people who, for some reason or another, have a lot of older clothing sitting around. This can include old farmhouses, estates, hoarder situations, people selling off collections, etc... Most of what I buy is going to be from around the 1800s to the 1980s. I'll travel to meet with you if you've got what I'm looking for. Here's a partial list of things I buy-
Old farmworn work clothing- jeans, work jackets, overalls, shirts (the older the better)
Vintage dresses and women's clothing
Older (Vietnam War and earlier) military items or military collections
Casual clothing, typically from the 1970s and older
Large collections of older costume jewelry
Older suits- polyester leisure suits, 1940s pinstripe suits, and more
Older athletic wear- tshirts, sweatshirts etc (1960s and older)
Motorcycle/Harley tshirt collections
I'm happy to answer questions so just drop me a line if you're curious about what I look for. I've been in business since 2004; feel free to look up my store, Wild Man Vintage, in downtown Lawrence KS. I visit a lot of places that are dusty and packed so that is not a problem.
