Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital - Long Term Care is looking for full-time Restorative Aide.
Position Overview
Provides restorative care as well as direct and indirect resident care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. Assists residents with activities of daily living and provides for personal care and comfort. Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provides active and passive range of motion following directions from Physical Therapy indicated on the Restorative evaluation forms.
· Assists resident back to bed, turning and positioning resident as ordered and/or as needed, making sure no rough surfaces are in direct contact with the body. Lifts and turns with proper and safe body mechanics and with available resources.
· Adheres to policies and procedures of the facility.
· Treats residents and their families with respect and dignity.

· Maintains an excellent customer service-oriented attitude.
· Assists residents with ambulating, handling and care of clothing and other personal property, including dentures, glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids and prosthetic devices.
· Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
· Current State of Kansas CNA license
· Current CPR
· Completion of Restorative Aide course (Can obtain once hired)
· Basic computer knowledge.
