Description

We have a few cows for sale in SW Kansas. Near Syracuse.
Nova's Heifer $3000

A1A2

1/2 Jersey, 1/4 Aryshire, 1/4 Montebeliarde

Bred to an Angus

Due late Jan/early Feb

1st lactation

Disease free BLV, BVD, Johnnes

I never gave my replacement heifers a real name so this is her name on all my testing and you can name her yourself 😂 this will be her first lactation! Her Mama is one of my tamest, most in your pocket cows. I expect her to be a lot like her Mama. We don't normally break our cows to milk until they calve so she has not been handled very much yet. Because she is a heifer, I would not recommend her to a beginner. Born and raised on our farm. Never had any vaccinations.

Leticia $3000

A1A2

1/2 Jersey, 1/2 Angus

Bred to an A2A2 Jersey

2nd lactation

Due in May/June

Disease free BVD, BLV, Johnnes

One quarter (left front) never came into milk in her first lactation so she is 3 teated. She is smaller framed, would be great for a beginner! Kid friendly. She doesn't love to be petted but is gentle and doesn't kick at milking. Never had mastitis. Is just used to the chaos of kids and chickens and dogs. Milked her and calf shared for her first lactation and she was amazing. Born and raised on our farm. Never had any vaccinations.

Quinn + bull calf $3000

A1A2

1/2 Jersey, 1/2 Holstien

2nd lactation

Calved 11-28-25

Disease free BVD, BLV, Johnnes

Quinn just recently calved and has been a dream to milk! She knew the routine by Day 2 and never gives a fuss. We just seperated her calf overnight for the first time and she is giving a couple gallons of milk per day. She's gentle and calm and stands nicely for milking! She will let me rub all over her and her udder. We just want to take a break from milking cows in January/February before the rest of our herd starts dropping calves and she had a calf at the wrong time of year for me.

Britney $3000

A1A2

Dutch belted

Bred to an A2A2 Jersey

Due late April/May

Disease free BVD, BLV, Johnnes

Britney is a little older but would be a good cow to learn on! She's never had mastitis, doesn't kick and comes in to milk great! She is a boss cow so she kind of pushes the other cows around to let them know she is in charge. She's a big girl and gives a couple gallons a day calf sharing. She will also feed other calves. Came from a small, organic grassfed dairy operation that does not do vaccinations.
