Barton Community College is seeking a full-time Assistant Coordinator of Correctional Education Services to support its partnership with the Kansas Department of Corrections. The Assistant Coordinator will work closely with the Coordinator of Correctional Education as one of the College’s primary contacts for programs at Ellsworth Correctional Facility (ECF) and Larned State Correctional Facility (LSCF). This role involves planning and coordinating educational programming and providing advisement for students pursuing post-secondary academic and career technical education. The primary work location will be either at Larned or Ellsworth.  Applicants should have an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred), 6 months - 2 years of related experience.  Preference will be given to individuals with strong organizational and communication skills, with a history demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively and maintaining strong partnerships.
