Position: Full-Time Communications Officer
Schedule: Approximately 15 working days per month (12-hour shifts), averaging 36–40 hours weekly
Starting Pay: Minimum $16.00/hour — pay negotiable based on experience and qualifications

👥 What Does a Communications Officer Do?

As a Communications Officer, you will:

  • Answer emergency (911) and non-emergency calls
  • Gather critical information quickly and accurately
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS
  • Dispatch appropriate resources to keep the public safe
  • Assist callers in highly stressful situations
  • Monitor radios, data systems, and emergency communications

This is a fast-paced, rewarding position where you become a vital link between the public and first responders.
