Norton County Hospital has a full time employment opportunity in our admissions area of Outpatient Services.  This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.  Typical hours will be 8:30am – 5:00pm, however may vary at times to provide registration coverage. 

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Registering patients, insurance verification, point of service payment estimation and collection
• Providing and explaining forms to patients, answering any patient questions, and helping patients feel comfortable when waiting to see the physician or other ancillary departments
• Business office tasks such as patient statement cycle processing

The Patient Access Representative is often the first person a patient or visitor sees when they arrive at the facility.  This applicant must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.  Applicant must also have strong computer skills and work efficiently with attention to detail.
