Dog friendly: Yes, with proper intros
Cat friendly: Yes, she does occasionally need to be reminded not to chase them. She is very curious about them. 
Kid-friendly: Yes, may be a little too energetic for small kids. 

Potty trained: Yes, when let out regularly.  When consuming more water she will need more frequent potty breaks. 
Leash trained: does well on a leash with the use of a prong collar.  She is a dream.

BIOGRAPHY: Pearl is an adorable girl that is always ready for a good time and an adventure! She loves kids, dogs and cats, she just forgets that her “in your face” personality isn’t always appreciated by everyone she meets. She just wants to be friends and isn’t sure why everyone else doesn’t feel the same! She would do best with a large (tall) fenced yard and an active family that will walk her daily. She loves other animals (once she knows them), and especially loves wrestling  with them, but she doesn’t always realize when they’re ready to stop. Pearl easily clears baby gates and regular fences. She would be great for agility if someone would work with her. She’s a fast learner and is motivated.

HISTORY: Pearl was picked up running at large with 2 other dogs from the same home and landed in a small rural shelter. Her time had run out there and they were all transferred to DC Shelter where the other 2 were both adopted, but Pearl was not. She was running out of time and at risk of not making it out when a foster stepped up to save her.

Adoption fee:  $135 and covers the cost of Distemper, Parvo, Flu & Bordetella Vaccines. Plus, a Rabies vaccine and a Heartworm test along with preventative.  Dogs are wormed and microchipped and spayed or neutered.
