A little history on the Laser 917 bodies, These bodies were patterned after the famous Porsche 917-K that dominated open class GT racing in the early 1970's (as much as possible without copy right infringement )
by Elite Enterprises in Cokato, Minnesota between 1972 and 1991. What set them apart from most fiberglass body makers of the day, was they were all trimmed, doors mounted and windshields in. There was only 679 Lasers made and this is # 169
I'm 74 and have had a lot of fun building a few cars,
Unfortunitly a little over a year ago I fell and landed on my right hip and knee and changed my life, I could not get off the couch for a couple months
than went to a walker and later to a cane. I am now walking without the cane but my right side does not work right and I'm not able to do the crawling in and out and under
the cars anymore.
