Penny is a beautiful 3-year-old Hound and German Shepherd mix with the sweetest temperament. She loves being close to her person and happily sleeps right beside me every night. She’s loyal, affectionate, and very people-oriented.

True to her breed mix, Penny has a strong squirrel and bird drive and loves to run and chase. She would thrive in a home with a fenced yard or with an active owner who can give her the exercise and stimulation she needs. Due to arthritis in my hands and living in a rental without a fenced yard, I’m no longer able to provide that for her.

Penny does well with children but would do best in a home without infants or toddlers under two years old.

This is an incredibly hard decision, and my only goal is to find her a loving home where she can be active, happy, and truly thrive. 💛
