Delta 1170 Tennon Jig. This is the older model before Delta went to plastic handles. I picked it up at a school auction and have restored it. Completely disassembled, de-rusted, paint stripped down to bare metal and repainted. Th eold handle was a bit long in the tooth so I made a new one. It has some battle scars - it came from a school shop. That said, the biggest repair (see pics) is the bolt brazed into the bottom plate. It was well done, but it’s still a repair. My guess is that it was dropped.
To my knowledge a more robust table saw tennon jig was never produced. This thing is solid cast iron from the 30s thru the 50s, no way to give a precise date, but it’s old.
It’s in my shop in Manhattan. But I get to the KC area regularly and would be willing to got drop it off anywhere near I-70 along the route from Manhattan to KC. I also go to COlorado regularly to see our daughter near the Springs and would do the same along I-70 in that direction.
