Barton Community College’s Communications Team is looking for a full-time Communications Strategist to join a dynamic creative team of media professionals driven to inspire Barton’s audiences to improve themselves through education. We are seeking a candidate dedicated to ongoing professional development who stays informed on emerging advertising trends across traditional, social, mobile, and digital platforms, while also providing support in budget tracking and spreadsheet reporting for marketing initiatives. This position is primarily responsible for managing the college’s paid advertising purchases, including scheduling and placement of media developed by Barton’s creative team. This individual will also play a key role in supporting the development and coordination of creative marketing content. A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a related field such as journalism, public relations, marketing, or communications. A strong understanding of traditional and digital advertising is required.
