Farm Hand / Equipment Operator

Work Location: Goodland, Kansas

Ihrig Farms is seeking a dependable, motivated Farm Hand to assist with day-to-day operations

on our irrigated and dry land farm. This position involves equipment operation, maintenance, and irrigation support. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can operate independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor irrigation systems, including sprinkler pivots

- Maintain, service, and repair farm equipment as needed

- Operate sprayers, tractors and equipment, John Deere

- Assist with general irrigated row crop operations

- Troubleshoot mechanical and irrigation issues in the field

- Perform routine upkeep and preventative maintenance

- Safely operate farm and company vehicles

Requirements:

- Good driving record

- Experience or working knowledge of ag farming crop operations

- Familiarity with sprinkler pivots and irrigation systems

- Experience operating and maintaining John Deere equipment

- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-minded

Compensation & Benefits:
