Ellis County is hiring Heavy Equipment Operator with our Public Works - Road & Bridge department.  This position offers a variety of heavy equipment operation with a great schedule and amazing benefits package.  Pay starts at $19.68/hour (dependent upon qualifications and work experience) with the opportunity for pay advancement at 6 months.

No CDL yet? We can help.
If you are eligible to obtain a CDL, we provide on-the-job training while you work full-time with benefits as an Equipment Operator ($17.78/hour).

Schedule: The cold season schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and during the summer months (current schedule!) the schedule is Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.
