NOW HIRING: Seasonal Concession Stand Workers

The City of Russell is seeking professional, community-oriented, and safety-conscious individuals for the position of Seasonal Concession Stand Workers for the upcoming summer season! 

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Swimming Pool Manager, the Concession Stand Worker provides exceptional service to pool patrons by preparing food, managing inventory, and handling money accurately. This is a fun, fast-paced summer position! Workers are expected to work the entire pool season, including weekends and holidays.

Season Details:

• Season: Memorial Day weekend through mid-August.
• Schedule: Up to 40 hours/week (Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays)

Essential Functions:

• Customer Service: Assist pool patrons with food/drink needs in a friendly, professional manner.
• Food Prep: Prepare and serve concession stand food and beverages.
• Money Handling: Ability to count money and make change accurately, and process transactions.
• Inventory Control: Stock inventory and prepare re-order lists for the manager to prevent running out of products.
• Sanitation & Cleaning: Keep the concession stand, equipment, and surrounding areas clean, safe, and compliant with all state/federal laws.

Requirements:

• Age: Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Physical: Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, squat, and move quickly.
• Environment: Ability to work outdoors in high temperatures and tolerate windy/open ground conditions.
• Communication: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with co-workers and the public.
