Position Summary
Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is seeking a full-time, day shift RN Charge Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN Charge Nurse provides direct patient care within their scope of practice and is accountable for the care delivered to patients in the Emergency Department. In this role, the RN communicates effectively with physicians regarding changes in a patient’s clinical condition, including diagnostic results and symptoms. The ideal candidate is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment, while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. This full-time position consists of 12-hour shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with every third weekend and a rotating holiday schedule. MCHHS offers a weekend shift differential and additional incentive pay for extra shifts. This role may also be eligible for Student Loan Forgiveness with a three-year commitment. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse licensed for the State of Kansas
• Two year minimum RN experience preferred
