Description
40-82. The 3 digit serial number put production date in the first year or even first month. Barrel is half round half octagon. Some dings on the barrel, not sure if they are from vise or something else. Stock is shotgun style, some shallow checkering did by one of the previous owners. Should be able to be removed easily. Both metal and wood in good condition, no rust, pitting, crack or chips. Factory markings clear visible. Finger lever has a spring loaded retaining button close to the pin which is correct for very early 1886. Bore is worn with some rifling left.
