We got this chair in 2017, it folds so we could travel with it after my mom had some medical issues. It was used very sparingly. I did some research apparently in these models you have to get a new battery every 3-5 years. On 1800wheelchair the oem battery is 199. For what its worth it still holds a charge from 2 months ago, so I think you could get some use out of it. But I have never used it in the 3 years since mom passed so I thought someone else could get some use out it. But wanted to be up front, my house is to small for it and I don't have a use for it.
