NOTE: The water pump gasket is leaking and we plan to have that fixed. The dealership told us when they put in a new water pump gasket, they also advise to replace the water pump and timing chain because when a vehicle has over 150,000 miles, it is best to take care of all those items during the same repair while they have all those components removed under the hood. If you would prefer, you could purchase the vehicle for $4,700 (selling “As Is”) and you can have your own mechanic fix the water gasket problem. Or you can purchase the vehicle for $4,700 and choose to not have the leaking water pump gasket replaced at this time. The mechanic told us that the vehicle can still be driven for an extended amount of miles with the leaking water pump gasket, but as some point it should be repaired.
