We had a really good time last week meeting so many new faces during our sale that we decided to hold another one! This time starting on Thursday the 7th at 9:30 ish then ending on Sunday at noon
We've still got lots of good sales inside the store. Lots of small $0.25 items that are good for online resale. We're a small family run business & we like to help out other small family run businesses. Whether you have a booth in a mall, like to sell online or just have a small place like us. We all need each other to keep going.
We're adding fuel to the fire by starting to clean out more of our backroom so there's even more - especially pocket knives & shot glasses, 1950's dolls, older advertising tins (the real deal stuff) & of course jewelry that we're adding to the - - Glassware, knick knacks, "Guy stuff", antique dolls, toys, rose china, old tools, vintage tins, & books. And it's ALL priced to sell!
Bead necklaces at .50 cents each, Rhinestone brooches (not just "pins") actual show stoppers starting at 3.00, some rhinestone "bib" necklaces, gobs of rings in the $2.00 range.
Much of our clear glass is priced at a $1.00 for each piece - you just have to bend down into the cabinets. (punch bowls a little more)
Our pink depression glass starts at $2.50 as well as our other glassware - some of which might be uranium glass (just bring your own tester to know for sure)
The selection of rose china bowls (there may even be some from Germany) are just beautiful and start at $2.50 each some are higher but nothing over the $20.00 range so you can breathe easy if you break something.
We still have some books ranging in price from .25 for a Thriller/Mystery & from $5.00 to $10.00 for Collector books on all subjects, History books on the old West, Cookbooks & vintage childrens books (they're hard to get)
There are also lots of used tools and pocket knives. Ya know, "Guy stuff".
We've got quite a few pitcher & bowl sets that I'm willing to take $2.00 off the price.
The Victorian dolls are a bit pricey but I'm willing to trade for VINTAGE Ponytail Barbies. Vintage Barbie must say JAPAN on foot or have holes in the feet - if she has that, then I'm ready to deal! (I've gone on doll excursions that cost up to $1,400 - think about that)
Our dressed mannequins are $100.00 each. (Our "Twilight Zone" gal is $300.00 I know she's probably not worth that but I swear she looks just like the kind used in that show!)
I've also found lots more primitives from old pioneer days. And some Native American pieces.
We only have about 10 really "knock your socks" off antiques that don't come cheap. They include an 1800's butter working table, a stage coach hat box, an imigrants trunk, an 1800's highchair & cradle, an1890's ball-jointed bisque doll (I'm having a HARD time letting this one go). A one of a kind advertising sign actually from WILSON Kansas - Gramophones & Jewelry apparently sold by a family named Slimms (could never find out any info). Other things in this category include soda fountain items from the Victorian era. The building use to be the drug store/soda fountain shop so we're kind of partial to those items but everything has a price.
Please take care to look over any knick knack or dish you buy for chips - there's so much stuff & I can't look over everything but I don't want you to feel cheated. So, examine things
UPDATE 5/7/2026: After my 1st day of cleaning the back room Head scarfs are .50 each, Linens are 2 for a $1.00. Pocket knives range from $1.00 to $3.00 (found lots of them) I had an accident with the salt and pepper shakers by trying to move one full shelf and it fell so sets are a $1.00 a pair (if you can find the mate) & singles are .25 each. All of these are easy to mail if you do online auctions. Also after having a good look at our Elvis mannequin (he's now in the front window) I've decided to mark him down to $65.00
Our regular days are Thurs, Friday & Saturday starting at 10 to 3ish (if I get discouraged) or 4ish (if I have business or just don't want to clean my house and read a book in peace)
I promise you this sale is worth getting gas in your car and is a collectors and resellers dream. Remember 427 27th street in Wilson Kansas.
Not the best pics but you get the idea
