The Financial Counselor will provide a compassionate and positive patient finance experience by offering financial advice and assistance to patients with medical bills. A typical workday may include creating payment plans, assisting with charity care, loans and other financial applications, analyzing billing and payment data, and general support for all self-pay options. This role serves as an integral member of the revenue cycle team and will collaborate with multiple teams, including hospital and clinic registration, billing and coding, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
